We met with Southern Star yesterday afternoon and they are ready for our arrival. They said that their plan is to set us up in the main event field on the East side of the building. The ground there is very hard and even if we get rain (which at this point looks HOT and dry) there will be no issues. he said if we wanted to we could also utilize the West side field but the exposure and public access would be better on the east side. Roy had asked if he could bring his RV and SS agreed, SS has offered the use of the first floor conference room for testing and I have shared that information with Jacob.
Southern Star has our field day flier displayed on their big screen in the tap room advertising it already.
We have sent out invites too every County and City within our area inviting all local leaders, EOC's, Fire, EMS and commissioner's offices. We also have sent invitations and press releases to the Conroe Courier and Montgomery County Police Reporter. If anybody has any personal contacts at our local agencies reach out to them and give a personal invitation please.
The food truck that is going to be there Saturday has been notified that we will be there and to expect us being patrons.
Sunday about the time we are wrapping up there will be a Pinto Bean cook-off in the Tap Room, Last year we went and got pretty full on the free samples so that could be lunch LOL.

SETAC contacted us and will be advertising our field day event and we will be doing the same.
I know that there are folks that normally are able to attend field day that have scheduling conflicts so if you can make any time to come out and participate even for a short while it would be great to see you.
