FCC Amateur Radio License Exam Session

The session will be at the Lake Conroe Amateur Radio Club Field Day location on June 24, 2023. Testing will begin at 3:00 pm. You are welcome to come early and enjoy Field Day. There will be opportunities to talk on the radio as well as plenty of food immediately following the exam session.

Please bring the following to the exam:

• The examination fee (now $15.00) in check or correct change

• A photo identification card plus one other kind of identification

• FCC Registration Number (FRN); if you do not have an FRN, please visit the FCC website to obtain an FRN before the test session (https://apps.fcc.gov/coresWeb/publicHome.do)

• Some sharp pencils, eraser, and a black pen; I recommend you bring a back-up

• Calculators may be used; however, the examiners will erase the memory before the exam begins

• If you are upgrading, you will need to bring the original plus one photocopy of your current license and/or your CSCEs
